Medical cover is one of the most important aspects of a travel insurance policy. While abroad, the last thing you want to be doing is paying out for medical costs in the event of illness or injury. Furthermore pre-existing medical conditions are illnesses or conditions which have occurred prior to you taking out your policy. It is very important to declare any pre-existing medical conditions when purchasing travel insurance as this could effect your premium and also any potential claim.
